How we met/plot:
One night in Tortuga, before either Sao Feng or Arabella were Captain of their respective vessels, the Empress was docked for the night, to buy supplies and such. Sao Feng tagged along with the rest of the crew to the rum den, where most people were already drunk or well on their way to being it. Arabella and a drunk man had been arguing over whether swords or bullets were more effective. Arabella's argument had been 'It's just as easy to die by the sword as by bullet if you're unarmed'. By the end of it, the drunk man's argument had been 'Phrah... more rum!... *hiccup*' which had turned physical. Ever the gentleman, Sao Feng had stepped in to defend the lady, and had been promptly had a bottle broken over his head.

When he came to a few minutes later, the drunk man had been running from Arabella as fast as he could while the latter sheathed her sword and put away her pistol. "There was no need for that. I could have handled it,"she commented while helping Sao Feng to his feet. Sao Feng couldn't help but agree. A couple of bottles of rum later, both were head over heels in love. A few months later, it was over.

How we met/plot: The two pirate women met in a local Tavern at Tortuga while the Wicked Wench was in port there. A brawl had broken out in tavern as usual, and a sword fight ensued. Arabella and Anamaria immediately entered the conflict in order to save their own skins and found themselves fighting back to back in an effective partnership. Once they managed to exit the tavern Anamaria was offered a spot in the Wicked Wench's crew as she had proved an able fighter. Anamaria accepted gratefully and the women soon became close friends as they adventured the high seas.
