Name: Temari Black
Age: 15
Allegiance: Pirate(Repairer)
Ship/Port of call: Black Pearl
Title/Job: Pirate
Personal History:
Temari was born on a small island in the middle of the vast ocean. The island she lived on was very small and with very little inhabitance. Her father, Cornelius Black, used to be a pirate on the infamous Black Pearl for 5 years. When docked up in Port Royal he fell in love with a young merchant, Arie Riversong. He meet with her every night, while the Black Pearl was ported. Then Jack ordered there leave for sunrise then next day. Cornelius meet with her one last time, that night, and told her he was to leave in the morning. She begged him to stay with her and forget about Pirates and the Black Pearl. In the end he agreed and left the Black Pearl before morning and ran away with his love. Not wanting to be found by any pirate he once knew, Cornelius and Arie left the mainland and went to live on a small island.
As Temari grew older she became fascinated by Pirates and their ways. She would sit on the shore of her island and stare out at the horizon, waiting for a pirate ship to appear and take her away from the life she knew. Temari questioned her father about pirates everyday, but he would just ignore her. Temari's father tried to hide his dark past from her, thinking it would protect Temari and her mother. But when her mother pasted away from a sudden illness, he felt like there was nothing left for him to hide.
He told her all kinds of stories about his life as a pirate and the Black Pearl. He showed her sketches and maps that he drew of the Pearl while he was aboard. Termari liked the sketches that detailed every last part of the ship, from the keel to the crow's nest. He kept all of his things in a small chest that he kept hidden in the cellar, and the key around his neck at all times. On Temari's 10th birthday, her father left the island with no desination. He left a note saying he wanted to die a pirates death and that he was leaving the chest and the key in Temari's possession. Temari didn't even hesitate to open the chest and read all of its contents. After reading her father’s journals and looking over his notes and sketches she decided she was going to find the Black Pearl and become a pirate.
So Temari trained herself in all aspects of being a pirate for the next 5 years. She excelled in sword fighting and combat. She loved to practice fighting and shooting and in her spare time she would look over the sketches that her father made of the ship. The only thing she could do better than sword fighting was fixing and making ships. She loved to build small model ships and when she turned 15 she made herself a small ship so she could sail off the island. The night before she was set to leave for Port Royal she sat out on the beach and stared out across the water. A thick fog covered the water as a shadow appeared across the water. A ship with black sails, sailed through the bright moonlight. “The Black Pearl” Temari thought as she stood to her feet. But as fast as the ship appeared it vanished. “That’s it, the Black Pearl is my destination!”
Likes: Pirates, Adventure, Mystery, Sword fighting, Fixing and Building Ships, Rum, and Revenge
Dislikes: Merchants, E.I.T Company, Cowards, Her Mother
Personality:
Temari is very outspoken, she believes in what she wants to and has a problem obeying orders. She almost never shows her real feelings and hides them in her expressions. She never forgets an opponent faces after she has fought with them and never holds a grudge about losing. Most people don’t understand her and think she is very mysterious and shun her away. She doesn’t like to talk about her past or about her family to anyone and she mostly stays to herself. But if she is pushed around she wont just walk away or let someone fight her battles for her.
She is very good with a blade but she doesn’t like to show it unless it is vitally necessary, but she will practice any chance she gets. When she fights she is in full concentration and will not stop fighting until her opponent is defeated, she will not walk away from a challenge. Most of the time she stays calm even in the most deadly situations and doesn’t get angered easily. She will work hard and will do almost anything to make her dream come true. Her pride and determination shine above all of her emotions as she sets out in search of the Black Pearl.
Appearance:
Temari has dark brown hair(with a few light blonde highlights at the top of her head) that is only matched by the darkness of her eyes. She is about 5.5 feet tall and has a normal body weight. Her hair goes about half way down her back, but she keeps it up in a ponytail or a bun most of the time. She keeps a small sharp dagger in her bun, that looks like the top of a chopstick. Her skin has a little tan tint to it but she is a pretty light skin tone. Her left eyebrow is pierced and her left ear is also. Her nails are always short because she bits them all the time. She has five scars on her right hand the move up with her to the ends of her fingers.
She is pretty strong from practicing and fighting but has a lot of room to improve. She is great with a sword and no one her age can even match her, but that doesn’t mean she is the best. Her movements and very fast and smooth while she is fighting. When she practices with her sword she wraps her hands up with cloth, which seems to help her ability to fight. She wears a white blouse with black pants that are cut off at the knees. She also wears a necklace with a cross that changes colors with her mood(the cross usually stays black). She walks with her head up high with pride and determination, as she is confident that she will find the Black Pearl and become a pirate.

Temari stared at her reflection in the mirror, tears rolling down her cheeks and falling to the floor. She pinned the last of her hair in her bun and stuck her dagger(chopsticks) through it. She brought her hands down to her sides and clenched them into fists. She quickly wiped her tears away, shaking her head. “This shouldn’t be this hard, I have nothing left here.” She turned around and grabbed her small bag and hat, and stormed out of the house. She dropped her bag by her house and walked out to the beach. She felt the sand get colder as she went closer to the water. She walked out until the cold water lapped her feet and the moonlight shone down on her face. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
“My last night on the island, I should be happy. But I am not, just the opposite” Temari whispered to herself. She looked up at the moon as it shone down on the water, reflecting its beauty. Paper crinkled as she opened hand reviling a small piece of paper. Only two words were printed on the paper in red ink. She crushed it in her hand and let it go in the wind. She watched it as the paper landed it gently in the blue water and drifted out of site. Light fog began to roll up onto the island, covering the ground. She stared out passed some big inland rocks, seeing a huge black shadow. As it came closer to the island, she could make out the flag raised above it and its black sails. “The Black Pearl” she said out loud stepping into the freezing water. “I am coming for you:”
She watched the Pearl sail out of sight and turned back toward the house. She lit a large torch and walked outside the house. She turned her back to the ocean and with cold eyes looked at her home for the last time. She through the torch at her house lighting it on fire. It didn’t take long until it was all up in flames, and there was nothing left. “I burned my only home to the ground, I have nothing to return to. No family or friends, I am on my own now. This was my decision and I cant take it back now, Its over” She said turning from her house, grabbing what little she had left. “I have no regrets, and now no memories because” she paused and looked back at her burning house. “Some memories aren’t meant to leave traces” She got into a small boat she built herself and left the island, sailing into open water.
The small piece of paper drifted out away from the island until it started to sink down into the water. The red ink stated to bleed into the water, leaving only the shadow of what was once written on the small parchment. “Don’t Forget”
