Name: Gabrielle Stellers
Age: 26
Allegiance: Pirates
Ship/port of call: Black Pearl
Title/Job Pirate
Personal History: Her father Bill was just a mere British merchant sailor. He helps trade with other ports. Gabrielle has been raised by her father since she was just a young girl. Her mother died of a terrible illness when she was just two years of age. While on the ship with her father, Gabrielle would always hear stories about pirates and the Black Pearl. When her father would tell her these stories, he would talk in a tone that clearly said he was against piracy and that any pirate should be hanged. Gabrielle, on the other hand was fascinated by the idea of becoming a pirate. Ever since she heard those stories, she wanted to become a pirate. Her father taught her about manners and to respect others, as well as a little bit of sword fighting here and there when she turned sixteen years old. She is not an expert at the sword yet.
When she was the age of twenty three years old, Gabrielle decided to take her own path to become a pirate. When she told her father, he was filled with rage and ordered her off his ship. Although he was angered with her decision, he gave her some supplies and sent her off on her own so that she may fulfill that destiny. And so Gabrielle went from town to town, listening to others in taverns and learning to become a pirate. At times, when she visited local taverns, she would ask questions about the Black Pearl. People would either gasp or talk quietly among themselves, as if she didn't mention the ship at all. Gabrielle was both angered and disappointed when this happened. She would usually just walk out and go on her way to a different tavern to get some stories out of the people there.
Gabrielle would travel by different ships. She would work hard around the ship in exchange to travel to other places. While she is doing this, she would learn even more about pirates and the Black Pearl. She would hear stories about the captain being nothing but an irresponsible drunk, or a hardy fellow who would make you do difficult tasks to prove you were worthy to his crew. When she heard these stories about the captain, she was scared, yet determined to prove that she is worthy to be part of the crew. She swore to herself that she would do anything to be part of the Black Pearl.
Now Gabrielle is on her quest to search for the Black Pearl and to prove herself to the captain of that ship.
Appearance: Gabrielle has a little bit of a tan coloring to her skin. Her hair is brown and her eyes are brown. She has a small noticeable scratch on her chin from when she was twenty four years old from when she was trying to practice with a sword. She is around 5' 4' in height. She has a pretty good figure with her body. She is of average weight. Her eyes are big and filled with wonderment and adventure. Her left hand has a scratch on the palm, which she would wrap up.
Gabrielle will usually wear a white tunic with black pants. Her hair is kept down. Her right ear is pierced.
Her movements are graceful, yet enough to be considered a good pirate. She walks with her hands at her sides and with her head held high in determination. She has a look on her face that says she is ready for anything. You could tell right off the bat that this certain person is one that will stay loyal and will do the hard work and labor.
Personality: Gabrielle is at times serious when the situation gets serious. She the kind of girl who would want adventures in her life. She is not afraid to stand up for herself and pretty much independent. The bad part of her personality is that when something upsets her, she would normally go into a grudge for a few days. She is at times organized and would sometimes tell people what to do. But other than that, she can be fun to hang around. Sometimes she would crack a joke or two or sing a little song to keep the others in high spirits. She would also tell stories about what others have told her.
Gabrielle is not really considered a gossiper, but when she just happens to hear something interesting or juicy, she would tell it to other shipmates. Sometimes this is a good thing and sometimes this is a bad thing. It might be a good thing because if it is something serious, then the crew will know to keep alert. Also, she could report to the captain what news she heard about others.
Likes: Gabrielle likes swords, adventure, pirates, fighting, and rum
Dislikes: She dislikes death more than anything, enemy pirates, and greed
Sample R.P: It was a quiet night. The wind was gently blowing over the dark port. People were in the tavern, socializing and of course, drinking rum. People were sharing their stories and singing merry tavern songs. For now, everything was going well.
But a woman opened the door and stepped inside the place filled with rum, smoke, and merriment. Her brown colored eyes scanned the area. She looked like a hawk just standing there, searching for a person to talk to. A sigh escaped her mouth. "Where? Who?", she thought. The woman walked deeper into the place. She sat down in the front where the barmaid asked her what she wanted for the night. "A good pint of rum.", she simply replied with no sign of emotion in her voice. She was not looking at the barmaid, but was still looking around the tavern. She noticed a group of men in the corner. They were talking quietly among themselves. It seems that they were shut from the other people around here as they were huddled in the corner.
She got up from her seat and walked with grace toward the group. She listened to their conversation and heard one say a name. The Black Pearl. A small gasp of excitement escaped from her mouth when the man mentioned the name. He was leaning back in the chair in the corner. His voice sounded like it was filled with boredom when he said the name. The brown haired woman repeated the words in a tone of wonderment. "You have heard of it? Have you seen it?"
The man gave small nod and replied with an "Aye. The ship with black sails. I have seen it. Beautiful one that it."
"I have only heard stories about that ship. Aye, it sounds beautiful.", the woman said with a nod.
Her drink soon came to her. She took it and gave a slight nod to the barmaid. "Here you go." She handed her two shillings and started to drink the alcoholic beverage. The talk continued in the tavern about the ship known as the Black Pearl. Thoughts of the black ship started to intoxicate the woman's mind. Yes, she had to go see the ship for herself. She had to join the crew somehow.
